Die große Steinmeyer Orgel wurde mit dem freundlicherweise vor vielen Jahren im Abstand von 10m zur Orgel vom NDR abgehängten AB -Stereopaar - nun neu justiert -, und zwei Stützmikrofonen (2 * DPA 4060) für den niederfrequenten linken und rechten Flügel der Orgel aufgezeichnet.Für Trompete und Flügelhorn kam auf der Orgelempore eine Blumlein -Konfiguration (2 * RoyerLabs SF1) und auf der Süd-Terrasse vor dem Michel ein AB-Stereopaar (2 * DPA 4060 @ 70 cm) zum Einsatz. Die Aufnahmen in der Krypta erfolgten mit einem AB-Stereopaar (2 * Earthworks QTC-50 @ 51.5 cm).Als Mikrofonvorverstärker und AD-Wandler kamen zum Einsatz: die Interfaces 2882+DSP und ULN-2 (für die Bändchen-Mikrofone) von Metric Halo .

The great Steinmeyer-organ was recorded with an AB-pair of microphones, suspended about 30' distant from the organ by the NDR (North German Radio) years ago and newly adjusted for these sessions. Two spot-microphones (2 * DPA 4060) for the low-frequency left and right side of the Organ complement the setup. Trumpet and Flugelhorn were additionally miked with a Blumlein -configuration (2 * RoyerLabs SF1) and the out-door-recordings used an AB-pair (2 * DPA 4060 @ 27.5''). The 'crypt-tracks' were recorded with an AB-setup (2 * Earthworks QTC-50 @ 20.3'').The microphone-preamps and AD-converters used were the interfaces 2882+DSP und ULN-2 (for the ribbon microphones) by Metric Halo .
